Canceling

If you no longer want to use Timebutler, we would appreciate a message explaining why you no longer want to use Timebutler. Companies often overlook a feature in Timebutler, and we can help you.
You can cancel the usage period and thus the contract at any time. Depending on the payment method you last chose, proceed as follows:

Cancellation during the trial period after your first sign-up

A cancellation is not necessary and not possible in this case. With your first sign-up, you received a multi-week [free trial period(/getting-started/sign-up-and-set-up/free-trial-period/). Unless you actively order an extension of use, the trial period ends automatically and you incur no costs.

Cancellation when SEPA direct debit is enabled

Sign in to Timebutler as an admin and click “Balance > Balance” at the bottom left. On the page, click the “Cancel direct debit mandate” button and then follow the instructions on the website.

If you don’t have access to your Timebutler user account or if your account doesn’t have admin rights, you can simply send us the cancellation informally via our contact form.

Cancellation for all other payment methods

If you chose a payment method other than direct debit, such as paying by invoice, PayPal, or credit card, you purchase a fixed period for using the software, for example 3, 6, or 12 months.

This is a one-time extension and not a subscription. If you don’t order another extension after this usage period ends, you won’t incur any further costs and the usage period ends automatically.

In this case, you don’t need to and cannot cancel, because the usage period ends automatically.

How to find which payment method you have enabled:
Sign in to Timebutler as an admin and click “Balance > Balance” at the bottom left. If the page displays information about SEPA direct debit, then you have SEPA direct debit enabled. If SEPA direct debit doesn’t appear, you are either in the trial period or you placed your last order using another payment method.
