Timebutler sends notifications by email to users for various events. Each user can disable email delivery.
Enable email delivery
If you previously disabled email delivery but now want to receive emails again, sign in to your Timebutler user account and click Settings > My profile. On this page, you can see the email delivery status and a button to enable or disable email delivery.
Enable email delivery for another user
Each user decides whether they want to receive emails or not. It is not possible for one user to change another user’s email delivery — not even for admins. Instead, the user signs in to Timebutler and changes the email delivery setting themselves.

Enable privacy mode for the email subject
You can decide how much detail is shown in the email subject line.
Sign in to your Timebutler user account and click Settings > More… > Global settings. There you can review or change the option Email subject privacy mode.
Examples
Without privacy mode:
- Subject: “Your request has been approved (Vacation (12.02.–16.02.)) – Max Mustermann”
- Subject: “Please approve: 5 x Vacation – Max Mustermann”
With privacy mode enabled:
- Subject: “Your absence request has been approved”
- Subject: “Multiple absence requests: 5 for Max Mustermann”
