For each user account, Timebutler automatically assigns a profile picture with a person icon in a random color. Once assigned, the color does not change for a user account — unless the user selects a different color.
The color has no special meaning. The unique color assignment makes it easier to recognize user accounts over time, since the same color is always displayed for a given account.
Upload a profile picture
Every user can change the color of their person icon or upload an image to replace the profile picture.
To do this, the user signs in to their Timebutler account and clicks “Settings” at the bottom left, then clicks “Your account” below. Next to their name, the current profile picture is displayed. Clicking the profile picture takes the user to the editing form for the image.
Allow display of profile pictures
An admin can configure whether profile pictures should be displayed or not. To do this, sign in to Timebutler as an admin, click “Settings” at the bottom left, then click “More..” below. Now click “Global settings” at the top right. Here you will find the “Show profile pictures” option.
Only upload your own profile picture
Every user can only upload and edit their own profile picture. It is not possible to upload or change the profile picture for other users — even admins do not have this option.
