Create and edit user groups

Every user can create and edit [User groups(/users-and-permissions/user-groups-and-teams/purpose-and-benefits-of-user-groups/). To do this, the user signs in to their user account in Timebutler and clicks “Settings > User groups” at the bottom left.

  • Personal user groups are user groups that only the owner of the user group can see and select.
  • Shared user groups are user groups that every other user can also see and select.

Only admins have permission to create and modify global user groups. Supervisors and employee users can only create personal user groups.
