Break regulations ensure that your employees record working times in line with the minimum break requirements. You select a break regulation and Timebutler ensures that the minimum breaks are met and the maximum working time per calendar day is not exceeded.
Set a break regulation for all employees
Log in to Timebutler as an admin and click Settings > More… at the bottom left, then Time tracking on the right. Under the Break regulation option, select the regulation that suits you. Click the blue Save button at the bottom.
Set a different break regulation for individual employees
In addition to the general break regulation, you can set a different break regulation for individual employees, or disable it for them. Read here how to assign a break regulation to an employee individually.
Set a different break regulation for multiple employees
If you want to change the break regulation for multiple employees, changing it in each individual user account would be time-consuming. Instead, you can edit many employees at once with the bulk change of working time models.
Create your own break regulation Timebutler already includes the statutory break regulations for various countries. If different break regulations should apply in your company, you can create your own break regulation.
Choice for the break regulation You can define whether applying the break regulation is mandatory, or whether employees have a choice whether to apply the break regulation or not.
When an employee records a time entry that does not meet the break regulation, Timebutler displays a message together with the suggested change to the time entry.
