If you already use time recording devices or want to purchase a time recording terminal, you have the following options:
Purchase a time recording device from a Timebutler-compatible vendor
There are vendors of time recording devices who have adapted their devices to work with Timebutler. You can request a non-binding quote for the devices. You set up the devices in a few minutes, and they are then fully integrated into Timebutler. There are various devices with RFID chip, PIN entry, chip cards, and more.

Connect a third-party time recording device
You can connect a third-party time recording device to the Timebutler API.
To connect the device to Timebutler, it must be able to send what are known as HTTP requests. Ask your hardware vendor whether the device you want supports this. Our API offers two different connection options; the vendor finds the information in the timeclock and timeimportbyevents endpoints in our documentation:

Timebutler time recording terminal
Instead of using third-party hardware-based time recording, you can also use the time recording terminal that is integrated into Timebutler.
You can activate the time recording terminal on a standard tablet. Place the tablet at the office or company entrance (there are professional mounts for tablets), and all employees can then clock their time at the terminal in the morning with a few clicks. You get a full-fledged time recording terminal for the low price of a tablet — and the times are automatically integrated directly into Timebutler.
The time recording terminal is included in the Timebutler flat rate at no charge. You can activate it without any extra cost. Read here for more information about the time recording terminal.
