Calendar view of overtime

In the calendar view of time entries, there are two views: the calendar view of overtime and the [calendar view of working times(/time-tracking/calendar-view/calendar-view-of-work-hours/). Use the two buttons above the calendar to switch views (note the tip further down this page).

In the calendar view of overtime, the calendar shows the number of overtime hours and deficit hours for each day. Color coding helps you identify days on which a lot of overtime was accumulated or many deficit hours occurred. Green stands for overtime, and the darker the color, the more overtime was accumulated that day. Red stands for deficit hours, and the darker the color, the more deficit hours occurred.

Note:
An admin can configure for each user type Employee, Supervisor, and Admin whether you may access the overtime view in the calendar view of time entries. If you do not see the button to switch to the overtime view, an admin has disabled this option for your user type.

Show additional information
When you hover over the calendar with the mouse, you get [additional information about overtime(/time-tracking/calendar-view/details-for-a-calendar-day/) for each calendar day. And when you click a day in the calendar, you see the [time entries for the day(/time-tracking/calendar-view/view-and-edit-working-time-entries/).
