On the [Timebutler time tracking terminal(/time-tracking/time-clock-terminal/time-tracking-terminal-on-a-tablet/), a tile is displayed for each employee for whom time tracking is enabled. This lets the employee use the punch clock.
If you use multiple time tracking terminals at multiple locations, you may want to show only the employees of that location at each site. You can configure each time tracking terminal to show either all employees or only the employees of a specific location.
Restrict to a location on a new time tracking terminal
When you activate the time tracking terminal, you automatically also get the option to limit the display to a location (only if you have [created at least one location(/frequently-asked-questions/user-accounts/create-or-change-a-department-or-location/)).

To remove the restriction to a location on an existing time tracking terminal, [deactivate the time tracking terminal(/time-tracking/time-clock-terminal/deactivate-time-tracking-terminal/) and then activate it again - during activation you will see the location selection.

To set a location later on an existing time tracking terminal or change the current location, [deactivate the time tracking terminal(/time-tracking/time-clock-terminal/deactivate-time-tracking-terminal/) and then activate it again - during activation you will see the location selection.

Employees commute between locations
If you have employees who do not always work at the same location but sometimes commute between locations, the location restriction may be undesirable: the employee could clock in only at the time tracking terminal in their “home location,” not at the time tracking terminal at the other location. In this case, you might want to show all employees at both locations.
Alternatively, allow the employee to clock in via the [punch clock in the user account(/time-tracking/enter-working-hours/enter-working-hours-time-clock/) as well. If you have configured that certain users may [clock in only at the time tracking terminal(/time-tracking/time-clock-terminal/allow-only-the-time-tracking-terminal/), remove that restriction for the commuting employee too.
