An admin can forbid or restrict input permissions for employees and supervisors:
- Restrict time tracking to [departments or employees(/time-tracking/activate/restrict-time-tracking-to-departments-or-employees/)
- Forbid entering work time entries via the [input form(/time-tracking/settings/time-tracking-settings/)
- [Time-based restrictions(/time-tracking/settings/time-tracking-settings/), e.g., earliest start time, entering in the past/future, lock working times for previous months

An admin can set that certain users are not allowed to use the time clock and may [only clock in/out in the time tracking terminal(/time-tracking/time-clock-terminal/allow-only-the-time-tracking-terminal/).

An admin can [extend input permissions(/users-and-permissions/permissions/extend-entry-permissions/) for individual employees so that they can also enter absences, vacation requests, overtime and overtime reduction for other employees.

An admin can set that supervisors are not allowed to enter entries for other users (option “Supervisor may enter absences for other users” in the [Global settings(/set-up/global-settings/edit-global-settings/))

An admin can set that supervisors are not allowed to create user accounts or change master data (option “User rights for supervisors and admins” in the [Global settings(/set-up/global-settings/edit-global-settings/))
