You can print any page. To print a page, use your browser’s print function or click the printer icon at the top of every page in Timebutler.
The smart print feature automatically prints only the relevant areas of the page. For example, it does not print the left or top navigation bars, nor many of the displayed navigation elements or buttons.
Print calendar with colors
When you print a calendar view, the colored markers for absences usually do not print at first. The reason is that the color highlighting is a background property, and printers typically do not include backgrounds when printing.
To print the colors as well, enable printing background colors in your browser options. Depending on your browser, do the following:
Chrome browser
Open the print function for the page. You will see a print preview and can, for example, choose the printer. In the lower-left area there is an option “Print background colors.” Enable this option before printing.
Firefox
Click the menu icon at the top right, then click “Print..”. The print preview appears and the printing options are in the right sidebar. If you see the heading “More settings” among these options, click it to show the additional settings. You will then find the option “Settings > Print background,” which you should enable.
Firefox browser (older versions)
Go to the menu “File > Page setup,” then the tab “Format & Options.” Enable the option “Print background (colors and images).”
Internet Explorer
Open the menu “File > Print preview…”. Then, in the print preview window, click the gear icon in the top menu bar. A small window titled “Page setup” opens. Enable the option “Print background colors and images.”
Edge browser
Unfortunately, the Edge browser does not support printing background colors. Please use another browser to print.
Other browsers
Every browser offers an option in its settings or print menu to also print background colors. Find and enable this option before printing.
