To protect your data as effectively as possible, we use an automated and monitored backup system.
Daily Backups
Every night, a fully automated backup of all Timebutler data is created.
- Backups are stored on separate servers designed specifically for backup storage.
- The data is protected using a secure encryption algorithm.
- Without the encryption file and password, the backup data cannot be decrypted.
In the unlikely event that unauthorized third parties gain access to a backup copy, the data remains unusable without the required decryption credentials.
Retention and Deletion
Backup copies are retained only for a limited period in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
After this period, backups are automatically deleted.

Monitoring
Backups and the automatic deletion process are continuously monitored.
In case of an error, system administration is notified automatically and immediately.
