Exporting data

You can easily export all data from Timebutler as an Excel file or a CSV file. The CSV format is used to transfer the data to other software, since most third-party providers can import CSV data, for example Datev, Lodas, SAP, or others.

You have three options:

1) Download via the Download Center

If you sign in to Timebutler as an admin and click “Reports > Download Center” on the left, you can download all data.

2) Download the data

In any list view (Absences, vacation accounts, sick leave entries, working time entries, working time accounts, user list, etc.) you will find a “Download” button at the top. You can use it to download the data with a single click as an Excel file or a CSV file.

3) Retrieval via the API

Timebutler offers an interface (API). Via the API, you can use a small program to automatically query and read your data. Here you can find [more information about the interface (API)(/interface-api/api-settings/enable-the-api/).
